Cathy Polinsky ’99—Prestigious Engineer

Cathy Polinsky ’99 was named one of the 23 most powerful women engineers in the world by Business Insider. Vice president of engineering for enterprise search at Salesforce, a leading provider of cloud computing, Polinsky leads the company’s software engineering initiative to create its own search engine infrastructure. Polinsky was previously the senior director of software development for Salesforce, the senior engineering manager for Yahoo!, senior software engineer for Oracle, and a software-development engineer for Amazon.

A former member of the Alumni Council, Polinsky is now a member of the Board of Managers.
