Jackson “Jerry” Taylor ’49Jackson “Jerry” Taylor ’49 of Annapolis, Md., died peacefully at home Aug. 25, 2016. He was 91. Born and raised in Washington, D.C., he was a decorated World War II veteran who completed 20 combat missions as a B-17 navigator in the European theater. He graduated from Swarthmore with a degree in civil engineering and continued his service to his country in the Air Force Reserves, retiring with the rank of lieutenant colonel. Read more.
