Sarah Curtis Lichtenstein '55

Sarah Curtis Lichtenstein '55, a powerhouse psychologist in the field of decision research and the inaugural president of Eugene, Ore.’s Human Rights Commission on Women, died Aug. 31, 2017. 

One of the key figures in establishing her field—which fundamentally shifted economics and psychology—Sarah also had a passion for math and music as well as an exceptional capacity for empathy, wit, and analysis.
